On March 27, 9th grade students of the Rakovets Gymnasium, together with their teachers, visited the Chemistry Department of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Vasyl Stefanyk Kyiv National University.

The teachers of the Chemistry Department, who are implementers of the grant project “Monitoring of Environmental Objects in the Context of European Integration” (MEOEU, ERASMUS+, Jean Monnet), spoke about the main sources of pollution and atmospheric pollutants in Europe and Ukraine, methods of monitoring environmental objects. They also learned about the international air quality index AQI and its Ukrainian analogue UAQI as tools for assessing the state of atmospheric air.
